About
On August 1, 1982, fifteen members of the National MRA in the Mid-Atlantic region petitioned MRA for the formation of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Their reasons for forming the Chapter were:
- To promote the purpose of MRA in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.
- To provide a working unit to assist the national Association in the structuring of national and regional meetings in the Mid-Atlantic region
- To promote additional MRA membership and activities in the Mid-Atlantic region
- To provide a forum were members of MRA from the Mid-Atlantic region could be a constructive influence in MRA
- To improve the professional image of opinion and marketing research in the Mid-Atlantic region
- To provide a forum where problems and solutions that were common to the Mid-Atlantic region could be discussed
- To provide educational opportunities beyond those that were available through the national Association
Mission Statement
- Educate members about changes and advances in industry practices and technologies
- Create a networking environment among members and the business community
- Build and maintain membership within the Chapter
- Increase public awareness and acceptance of marketing research
- Promote the purpose of MRA within the Mid-Atlantic region
