What is the best aspect of your current job?
I love finding custom solutions to fit our growing company regarding our database, and truly find joy in discovering custom solutions to our clients’ needs. I enjoy that I have a bit of exposure and involvement with every project we work on as a result of panel sampling and programming oversight of the screening process.
What do you see coming in the market research industry during the next five years?
I am excited to see what new technology brings in both recruitment capabilities and interviewing techniques. I am sure the data we are collecting, as well as how we are collecting it will be continually undergoing advancements. I also expect to see (and am preparing for) plenty of changes regarding compliance and privacy in this industry.
How did you first come to work in market research?
My mother has a long history of working in pharmaceuticals and my in-laws have a long history of working for market research, so when I had the opportunity to join the industry, it seemed like a wonderful opportunity- one that I was already interested in and exposed to.
What led to you joining the Insights Association?
Members of my organization were already quite involved, so I joined in to stay updated on compliance issues and industry news as well as attend events for our local chapter.
What do you do in your spare time - hobbies or activities?
I’m currently training for a half marathon and have a lot of love for running, weight lifting, and the outdoors. I hope to visit every national park in the US (and beyond) someday. I love my family, animals, and doing random crafting projects (poorly).
